Johnny Kats has been a Stand Up comedian for eight years. In that time he has performed in all major comedy clubs in Australia, London and New York City and successfully held a high rating comedy programme on commercial radio.

Johnny spent the last four years doing his own week nightly comedy show on Nova 100: The Johnny & Jody show (7-10pm). The show finished airing in June 2008. Johnny still works at Nova producing comedy material for the station to air.

In 2004 Johnny won first prize in a Stand Up comedy competition. First prize saw him perform in all the major comedy clubs in New York. The highlight was when Johnny was chosen to be a support act for Dave Chappelle at the Boston Comedy club in New York.

Johnny also performs regularly on the London comedy circuit. His recent tour was September 2008 to December 2008.
