“Johnny Wonderpants” the band is an acoustic trio playing an eclectic mix of cover songs (see attached song list). The line-up has changed over the past fifteen years, but the live acoustic format and rocking vibe remains the same.

The band is generally booked as a three piece, but can adapt to be a four, two or one piece, offering a flexible line-up and a wide selection of different tunes. All of the band members contribute vocally, with Andrew Curry on acoustic guitar Mark Farrell playing bass, and Nick Farnell on percussion. When playing as a four piece, the members can also double as acoustic percussionists using bongos, tambourine, shakers, etc, and Andrew also brings out the trumpet from time to time. The instrumental composition of the group and harmonic vocals give the band a complete and full sound, with the songs they cover being faithfully, yet originally, rendered.

Johnny Wonderpants are consummate music professionals, and they fill the stage with a vitality and energy all their own.

The band have held a residency at The College Lawn Hotel for the past four years, and have turned down residences at various other venues due to wanting to be available for one-off functions. Some of those functions have been for AFL Clubs, NRL Clubs, Christmas parties, End of Financial Year parties, 21sts, 30ths, 40ths, 50ths, 60ths, and heaps of Weddings.
